During Dr. King’s visits to the European Headquarters in London, he would also be extremely busy visiting other groups and branches, with lecture tours across the country, and on other important spiritual projects.

When possible, he would take a few days break and go on a boat trip down the river Thames with some of the staff. On other occasions, he would also invite staff members to meet him at various locations along the way for a nice dinner or lunch.

As Dr. King carried a constant heavy load, faced many crises and accepted responsibilities that would have a lasting impact on humanity, a boat trip on the Thames was not only very enjoyable and relaxing but also essential for him.
