Operation Prayer Power was inaugurated in England on Holdstone Down, a holy mountain, in North Devon overlooking the Bristol Channel.

When the first historic phase of Operation Prayer Power began, there were 200 pilgrims—a record breaking number—to begin the new mission.

There was also a large media representation with both of Britain’s major television networks and two newspapers.

Led by Dr. King himself, the pilgrims joined in chanting holy mantra while a small hand-picked prayer team stood before the Operation Prayer Power battery and directed the tremendously powerful energy of love into the battery, to be stored and released during times of crisis in the world.

Dr. King also put on a dazzling display of Tibetan mudra (hand/finger positions) drawing on the energy generated by the mantra chanting of the attenders and directing it into the battery.

Just as the operation began, the world was passing through one of the longest solar eclipse for hundreds of years. As the Earth was deprived of millions of units of solar energy, a few representatives of humanity were a part of the birth of a mighty force that would shape its future.
