It takes great compassion to give great truths

Lecture

April 9, 1973

In this lecture, Dr. King explains that when a person receives advanced teachings such as those given by himself and other masters, he or she could be disturbed by those teachings, which are aspects of truth.

When we first hear truth, it will often disturb us because it forces us to face our limitations and prejudices, which are holding us back from our enlightenment.

Dr. King also explains that a person who gives such truths and advanced teachings does so out of compassion and love for the person in order to help that person grow and evolve.
