During Dr. King’s first five and a half months in the USA, he gave 75 lectures, 22 radio and television interviews, took 4 transmissions, charged two mountains in Operation Starlight and led one pilgrimage to Mount Baldy.
While visiting Detroit on April 5th, 1962, Dr. King was interviewed on the Dr. Jay Zee show, which lasted for two hours. Because of the tremendous interest in the program, Dr. Jay Zee did two more 2 hour interviews on April 6th and 7th. This made a total of 6 hours on this radio station alone.
