Dr. King on Roseberry Topping during his mystical pilgrimage
<< Back to Chapter 1: Growing into a Master
Dr. King can be seen in the distance, seated in deep reflection on top of Roseberry Topping in North Yorkshire during his mystical pilgrimage in 1978.
Dr. King explains: “Immediately as I stood on the top of Roseberry Topping looking out over the numerous villages which dotted the flat plain beneath, I knew that my quest had taken on an entirely different importance…..and then the truth began to come. Within minutes of me going into an inner silence – it came. One personal question, the answer to which eluded me all my life, was answered in a very simple understandable manner, as were other questions which I posed to myself on that mountain.
“As I did many times in the past as a child, receive childlike inspirations on top of Roseberry Topping, so also now did I receive it. Although this time, not childlike, but simple yet deeply significant; I’ll say that again, yet deeply significant in its profundity.
“If I was given the job to rename Roseberry, I would call it ‘Realization Point’, for that did happen to me on this bright sunny morning in June…
“I said a prayer of thankfulness and sent my blessings to this wonderful little mountain, which had helped me so much in the past, but never as much as it had that day.”
