Aetherius House in the 1950s and 60s
The Aetherius Society moved into what became known as Aetherius House on July 7th, 1958. The first two cosmic transmissions were delivered there by two advanced masters on July 10, 1958. ‘The Twelve Blessings’ transmissions started on July 27th, 1958. It was a vibrant, busy hub of activity. They were exciting times for the people there, never to be repeated for them again in the same way.
1) Dr. King leads a group in pranayama (yoga breathing).
2) Keeping the eyes to the skies – as urged to do so by a cosmic source.

4) Dr. King doing a shoulder stand while in Padmasana (full Lotus). A colleague waits with a cup of tea!
5) Dr. King used dark glasses to block out light while preparing for and receiving transmissions. Due to the difficult and dangerous trance condition he had to adopt, any sudden bright light could cause him serious physical injury.
6) A group of staff and members sit down together for a celebratory meal.
7) A transmission starts and is recorded for posterity. In the later years, Dr. King had a dedicated room in which he could take transmissions.
